SUBJECT: [Karl Octet] becomes [SVP/Research]
[Karl Octet] has been named senior vice president of research for [American Oscilloscope]. The appointment is effective [April 15].
Prior to coming here, [Mr. Octet] was [vice president of new product development at Terpsichore Industries, manufacturers of electronic radar components in conjunction with McDonnell-Douglas for use in jet fighter aircraft]. Before that, [Mr. Octet] worked in [product development at the Boeing Corporation].
[Mr. Octet] holds a [bachelor’s] degree from [Northwestern University, a master’s degree in applied sciences from Stanford University, and a doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology]. His writings have been published extensively in [both The Radar Journal and Modern Corporate Technology].
We will hold a reception this Friday to introduce [Mr. Octet] to all division and department heads. Please plan on joining us to help welcome [Karl] to [American Oscilloscope].
